Following the public debate initiated by Mayor Emil Boc, on the current state of the cultural sector in Cluj, debate in which representatives of the field were invited to come up with proposals for strengthening and developing Cluj culture in the context of the coronavirus pandemic negative effects, Cluj Cultural Centre initiated a debate to which the 104 member organizations and institutions were invited to contribute.
These consultations, together with several research steps that we carried out after the state of emergency had been declared, resulted in this list of measures that we sent today to the representatives of the Cluj Municipality, so that it can serve as a starting point in the next period work discussions of the mixed group formed with representatives of the Cluj-Napoca City Hall, Cluj Cultural Centre and its members.
The list of co-signatory organizations is open to all legal entities in the Cluj cultural sector, be it public, independent or private. Those who want to join our action are asked to announce their intention at contact@cccluj.ro and the Cluj Cultural Centre will keep them informed of the progress.
